Claude Lambie was my dad, Alex's big brother. They were business partners owning Berries Hotel,
The lea-rig and the snooker club in Larkhall. They were also best friends.
My Uncle Claude was one of the most special people in the world to me and when he passed away on 5th
April 1995 my heart was broken.
He had so much to live for and such a wonderful family around him.
He died of an anurysm aged just 53.
Anyone who knew him knows how good a man he was.
Everyday I miss him and say a prayer for him up above with my dad Alex and my mum May.
Its a true saying,..............only the good die young and god took the best when he took my Uncle
Claude.
Rest in peace Uncle Claude, I miss you with all my heart and soul.

Never a day goes by without you in my head and heart. You were so very special to me and to everyone who knew you. Uncle Claude, you would be so proud of my Aunty Emily. She has struggled without you all these years and she misses you every minute of everyday. She loves you so much. We all do. I just hope that you are safe and well and looking down on us all.
I miss you so much, you were a very special part of my life. I looked up to you and respected you and I will never forget you. My big pal.
